A Conversation for the Ill

1998

I’m back to morbid instability and reality on this one… it’s really a character study and that’s all.  It’s no a complete work, it’s actually a chapter from an unreleased and far from finished novel that takes the college going main character here prematurely through each phase of his life and shows a rapid descent into purgatory… and if that weren’t enough to process, it was to play like a comedy.  J  Really though, this is one act of a much larger work that I felt could stand on it’s own because it is well developed and rough all at the same time.  There’s very strong imagery which really made it feel like it should be included and there’s that twisting bottom line of togetherness, compassion and harmony – it really harkens back to my days with Not To Be, but with a more optimistic ending.
